We have a full, inviting shoppe that will be open this week on Thursday & Friday.

Please note this week our hours will be:

Wednesday   Closed

Thursday      Closed

Friday   10:00-3:00

Saturday   10:00-4:00

We apologize if this causes inconvenience.  We will resume regular hours next week.

Crazy- Lots of Projects

When I was in the corporate world, long ago, I remember the crazy that occurred just before an event, a vacation or time away.

Fast forward 14 years and the crazy still happens!

Spring Break starts Friday, the Good Day Columbus appearance is this week, we sold many pieces of furniture this past weekend and soccer season has started. Whew!

I thrive on the crazy just before I collapse. At least I'll collapse in warmth!

My first priority is the shoppe. I filled it, rearranged it and brought in lots of Spring.

I restocked Maison Blanche Paint & Products.

Finished an awesome coffee table in Franciscan Gray, love!

Played with the new Maison Blanche Outdoor Paint.

And am now off to Good Day Columbus, to share a DIY project & some Pinterest Party creations with my girls! Tune in to Fox28-now!

Like I said, I love the crazy & am thankful that I get to do what I love!

Our TV Appearance

Whew! We made it through!

It was so fun, I loved having my kids on Good Day Columbus with me yesterday!

They had a blast.

Now, if you've followed along on my adventures, then you know, I have 2 girls.

So who's the young man?

This gentleman is part of our family. He was a neighbor who spent lots of time with our family. He grew up with us and celebrates holidays, events and vacations with us. So it was only appropriate that he join us on tv!

And, he got his craft on!

They rocked the Pinterest Party crafts.

They got to see how a tv show is done.  They met the stars of the show.

They got to taste the new peeps (behind the scenes).

Hopefully, they see that DIY, crafting and following your passion can be fun and rewarding!

If not, they have pictures with Taylor Swift to remind them of a fun morning!

I'm back to the shoppe today! Please pop in and visit. There is such fabulous new treasures!

Restocking & Restyling

Wow! Thank you All for supporting our business!

So many furniture pieces found new homes this weekend, you guys are keeping me busy!

I spent lots of time with a paint brush in hand and restyling new goodies for the shoppe.

I will be painting & restyling today as well. I'm preparing for Good Day Columbus on Wednesday morning, 9:00 am on Fox28.

I'll be bringing some special guests too!

Awaiting a Restyle

I've been keeping busy with my projects. However, I never seem to get ahead!  There is always more to paint, items to find and things to craft.

This week we moved two pieces in the shoppe that I plan to restyle. They are in as found condition.  I'm offering them for sale as is or custom painted. This buys me a bit of time to catch up.

This antique radio cabinet has so much character. 

Wouldn't this be a beautiful bar?

I know she will be gorgeous painted, but she's a beauty in this condition as well.

The second piece is a vintage kitchen cabinet.

She's been scraped/sanded down and is just awaiting a restyle. 

Both pieces are in the shoppe.

Buttery Yellow Bench

Hi Friends,

I hope you enjoyed the wonderful day yesterday!  I enjoyed a Pinterest Party at the shoppe & restyled the store as well.

The sun was shining and I had the doors open-perfect!

It's also a great feeling to have the shoppe ready for Wednesday! Today, I can catch up on the rest of life.

One of the new treasures that landed in the shoppe is a bench/coffee table.

It started like this...

I grabbed this at a show and planned to use it as a coffee table. Daughter #2 was breaking it in with her feet.

She looks so much better in a buttery yellow. I used Maison Blanche in Jolie Blonde. This is my first piece of furniture in this color and I love it! A slight distressing and clear wax complete the restyle.

She has landed in the shoppe. She didn't work with the sectional. That's ok, it gives me an excuse to go on "the hunt".

A Restyled Night Stand

Hello Friends!

Today is my Birthday! Woo-hoo!

Well, there's no big excitement happening here, but I can assure you there will be no painting, fixing or admin work (which I loath).

In preparation for my relaxing day, I finished up a cutie yesterday. Hope Hubby is pleased with 4 before & afters this week!

Before, in as found condition.

Restyled in Maison Blanche Robins Egg with clear wax. So crisp and clean and perfect.

The original hardware was painted in Franciscan Gray and the inside of the drawer in Confederate Gray. Delicious!

We have so much goodness in the shoppe. I will be sharing lots of photos tomorrow.

I'm off for some fun and relaxation.

Table Restyle

Hi All,

Our before & Afters continue today.

This looks like one of the tables we have in our home next to a couch. The girls love to place their cups on it and forget about it. Rings, scratches and careless use.

Nothing a restyle can't correct!

With all the beautiful detail, the Hurricane color of Maison Blanche and dark wax, really bring this baby to life.

She is now in the shoppe, showing her new restyle.

Vintage Radio

Sometimes I just have to have a piece.

Sometimes I have no idea where it will go, what I will do with it or why it speaks to me, but I gotta have it.

This vintage radio has so much charm.

A little Riviera by Maison Blanche to funk this baby up.

I placed a radio inside it, so it jams some fun tunes.

I'm loving the color in the shoppe.

Before & After

Hi Friends!

My one faithful follower is Hubby. He reads every post and shares his comments. Over the weekend, he told me I haven't shared a before & after in a while.

I've taken to Facebook so much lately, that he was correct, I haven't shared as much here.

Let's change that!

This baby had been a beauty at one time. Before crackle was discovered!

She received a restyle with Maison Blanche Franciscan Gray and White Lime Wax. She's soft and stylish now.

Like many discarded pieces, she has her quirks. One drawer works, while the other two were sealed shut. Why? I can't even guess.

The serpentine front and the restyle make her a perfect hall table, night stand, tv stand...lots of options!
