Dangerous Job

After yesterday's post, I must say: thank you All for loving our candles as much as we do!
We will continue to restock and carry all your favorites throughout the season!

Now, on to today's post.

We work in a dangerous field.  We lift and load, flip and push furniture and other oddities every day.

Alright, it's not really a dangerous industry, unless your my Hubby.
My poor other half, did a number on himself.

See this insanely long screw?

There are a lot of uses for this screw.
Putting it through your knee, is not one of them.
OUCH!

Hubby was rolling out and installing turf in our barn, for an indoor soccer field.
The screws kept the turf rolled up, so when he unrolled it, he didn't see the screw and bam.

He had to lay on his back for a while, so he wouldn't pass out.  The pain was excruciating.

He made it to the doctor, tetanus is up-to-date and antibiotics will (hopefully) flush out any infection.

My poor guy.

Never a crutch free day in the house!

He doesn't want to be discovered, so I cropped his pretty face.

I am heading to the shoppe today, where it's safe and warm!

Shoppe is open TODAY 10:00-3:00 & 6:00-8:00.

XO-
