I missed you all yesterday and probably will a lot more now that the girls are home. I love having a flexible schedule, but I like it when it's my own and not dictated by 12 & 13 year old girls. As you can see we are adjusting to summer vacation and have some kinks to work out!
First on Hubby's summer agenda was to park the cars in the garage. So once again we spent beautiful Sunday moving, cleaning, sorting and moving it all again. Ugh!
This is not a repeated post.
We do this every so often and I love the result, just hate the process.
Anyway, I made the mistake of posting a photo on FB. Well, our loyal shoppers and vintage loving, trash pickin' friends all wanted in on the fun!
That lead to emails, texts, messages and finally I set up hours that people could pick up the free goods and drastically low priced items.
We are preparing for a show on June 22, have the shoppe to stock and will be having wedding photos shot in our barn next week, so a barn sale was not an option.
However, I do believe there will be one in the near future!
We piled items to be painted/fixed. Ready to go. To the show and then to donate/get rid of.
Hubby and I were asleep by 9:30 and both cars were tucked in the garage.
That's a success!
