Cottage Reveal

Hi Friends & Happy May!

We have returned from our weekend escapades and do I have some photos for you!  If you follow us on Facebook then you have seen some of our before and after shots.  If not, then I hope you will enjoy the significant makeover we accomplished.

Hubby and I arrived late Saturday evening with all of our tools.
I had waited 7 years to tackle this project!

Our cottage is an old fishing shack that was encased in knotty pine panels.  It created a cozy, cabin feel but the orange, heavily varnished finish was tired and lacked in the cottage living we were after.

Say goodbye to the orange.

Hello to the new cottage!

Hubby and I finished this up on Sunday evening.  It is everything I hoped and Hubby even loves it.

Details - Purchased at Lowes:
Primer - Zinsser, this is hard core, wear a mask!
Paint - valspar, flat finish in Sherwin Williams Dover White.

Hope you love it as much as we do!
XO-
