A White Chalkboard

You may have seen this big white circle in the previous posts.  

When we were restyling my friends bedroom, we popped in to TJ Maxx.

You never know what you may find.

She thought I was crazy when I put this round item in my cart.

It was $3.00.

Certainly I could restyle it, right?

It was missing a chalkboard.  We saw similar ones in the store.

Let's make our own!

Did you know that 3-coats of Maison Blanche Antique Paint = a chalkboard?

Yep.

Keeping with our creamy white theme, we simply painted the backboard.

This decorative frame once again holds a chalkboard.

Grab your kids colored chalk or pick some up and create a masterpiece.

You will begin to see all sorts of colored chalkboards in the shoppe.
