Snow Removal - Ugh

Hello Friday!

I am losing track of the days.  We had a nice day off in the middle of the week and then a delay yesterday, so I am all out of sorts.

As you know, if you've read this blog at all, that we live in an old farmhouse with beautiful land.  We fell in love with the land and the barns and the house was just a necessity.

Anyway, as you enter our driveway, you cross a bridge and continue 100 yards to the house.  It's quite pretty when there is NO snow.

We each have our home jobs and Hubby's is the outside maintenance.

Of course Hubby was out of town when the storm hit late Tuesday night.  The snow and ice came quickly and the only way to leave the house was for me to shovel.

I shoveled 20 scoops and that took abut 15 minutes.  It wasn't happening.

So out came the snow blower.  I had a lot of trouble with that too.

For the first hour, I could not figure out how to adjust the blower part, so I kept shooting the snow where I had just cleared.

I was a cold mess.

Here you can see that I kept shooting at the garage.

If there is a moral to my post: stick to what you are good at!
I am clearly not equipped for snow removal.

Hope you have a good weekend and stay warm!
I am at the shoppe
today & tomorrow11-4, stop in!

XO-
