This past weekend was a doozy for college football. Our beloved Buckeyes beat Michigan by 1 point and little time left on the clock. It was a stressful few hours at The Gabor house and across the country for Buckeye fans.
Then the instant classic - Auburn's amazing upset when they rolled The Tide.
Hubby and I were consumed with the great games and pretty much stayed in the living room all day. With that said, I cannot just sit. I must be doing something. I searched Pinterest, gathered my supplies and set up for projects in the living room.
I made two of these beauties - one for me and one for sale at the shoppe. I used reclaimed barnwood to make these authentic signs. Mine will go on my front porch mixed with greenery.
I am smitten with my project.
I kept going (there was a lot of football on!), and made a sign for the shoppe. I made the open sign and coated it with poly. This is a regular piece of scrap wood, painted and then lettered.
I haven't made a wreath in a while. I used a very old book, tons of hot glue and a little sparkle. I forgot how much I love these. While time consuming, so worth the effort.
I love the signs and getting into the crafting spirit. I may have to bust out a few more before the season is over.
Stop in today, I am sure I will have the glue gun on!
11-5 Today
XO-
