Happy Monday!
Hope everyone had a great weekend and an enjoyable Mother's Day!
Hope everyone had a great weekend and an enjoyable Mother's Day!
I spent mine in Sidney, Ohio (11/2 away) cheering our 12 year old on to victory at the Mayfest Tournament! They played 4 exciting games and walked away the Champions!
The trophy she received almost makes up for the 6 hours I spent in a car with her stinky cleats! My golly, girls should not smell this badly.
Meanwhile, Hubby went to Kings Island (amusement park) with our 11 year old. He was the chaperon of the 5th grade choir. Brave man.
They also walked away with a trophy and several awards! I get to see them perform this evening.
I wrote myself a note last year at this time...May sucks. Too much happens at the end of the school year, it's hard to keep it all straight!
But, you are not here to see photos of my kids or learn about our many, many activities. Hopefully, you stopped by to see a project. And that is what I will share.
Bust forms/dress forms/mannequins are all the rage. They vary in style and coolness. This one was not so cool. It needed something.
So we cut and rolled many, many pieces of sheet music. Many, many pieces of paper!
Armed with a hot glue gun, I started on the bottom and made a skirt for my lady.
She had the perfect spot at the show. If I had a $1 for every photo or mention my lady received, I would be on vacation.
I also learned that all my ladies need names. I'm open to suggestions. I haven't given it too much thought!
Before I sign off, I must give a shout out to Polly at Georgie Emerson Vintage, she and I saw the same tutorial on this project and she encouraged me to dive in.

By dividing up the party at several peoples houses you make it
easy on yourself. For adults, a virtual makeover of hair
and makeup may be the equivalent of a little one hood game, with an improved style sensibility that tends to make the knowledge each entertaining and inspirational.
Every Halloween party that people remember later in the year
by saying things like "Do you remember so-and-so's Halloween party last year.
