FRESH EGGS

Our chickens turned 4-months old last week.  You know what that means?

Oh what a sight to see!  It was like Christmas morning for me!

We have 6 chickens, 3 Leghorns and 3 Americana's.  This egg came from a Leghorn (white) chicken.

Since the first one arrived, we have gotten a total of 8 in a week.  All white.  Now we are getting 2 a day!

What did we do with them?

We scrambled the first two we discovered and each had a bite.  I was a bit grossed out, since I knew where they came from.  But, I got over that and enjoyed my bite.
I literally run out there every day, sometimes twice, to see if my little cuties left me a package!

My girls come visit me when I am working in the barn.

Isn't this an appropriate gift?  I just received it from Suz.  It's Perfect!

Thanks for letting me share my latest passion with you all!

XO-
