I am continuing to share finished projects this week.
Monday – Painting an entire chair, including the cushion.
Tuesday – Desk Reveal.
Now today, I have a red dresser to share – just in time for the holidays.
This little guy had seen better days. My brother-in-law brought it over for my Barn Sale. It ended up staying with me.
On Friday morning of the Barn Sale, since I had to be available to shoppers, I just started painting. Several people had asked for red furniture, so that was my color of choice. Emperor's Silk by Annie Sloan.
The top drawer is freshly painted. Do not let the color scare you. It calms down once dry and dark wax adds a warm rich finish.
Here you can see the top of the dresser. I buffed to a high sheen.
In addition to painting the dresser, I painted the original hardware in ORB. It works perfectly with the finish on the dresser.
The size is perfect. It can be used throughout the house or as a night stand or of course a traditional dresser. It’s a great way to add a pop of color.
She will find her way to Heritage Square Antique Mall soon. Our booth is overflowing right now! If you’re interested, shoot me an email at vintagerestyled@gmail.com. She is priced at $150.
Don’t forget to enter the GIVEAwAY!
Enjoy the day!
XO-
