The show is coming together! I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! When Hubby and I delivered the furniture on Friday no one was set up yet. But when we went yesterday, people had delivered lots of goodies! Tons of vintage, antique and rural finds all gathered in one place!
For those of you just stopping in, I am talking about The Rural Society Antique Show this Friday and Saturday in Mt. Vernon, OH. I am honored and a bit intimidated by the talent of the vendors. I must get a few moments to shop all the loveliness!
We delivered and set up my area. I will go back tomorrow with some more goodies and then arrive bright and early Friday morning to welcome the shoppers. I thought I would share some photos of our progress. Just know, it is a work in progress!
A bedroom vignette complete with 4-poster queen size bed, 2 night stands and a dresser. All finished in a distressed white.
We attempted to bring different furniture styles and different finishes to appeal to many.
This claw foot dresser is making its debut. Complete in a neutral color with mirror. The detail is exquisite.
This buffet must go home with someone. It is a terrific piece. Ignore my seasoned chalkboards, I promise I will write something before Friday!
Look at all that Ironstone I have held back for the sale! The desk and hutch are complete in a “teal” color. Perfect pop of color.
I’m sharing this again so you can see all the Ironstone on the corner piece. If you need a piece, I got it. If you need a set, I got that too.
Painted gourds add great color throughout. Despite having a large space, we still had to go up to fit everything!
Hope you’ll join us, it’s worth the trip!
Please stop in the “old barn” and say hello!
XO-
