Welcome to mid-week. How did that happen? When you have lots to accomplish in a small amount of time, it seems that time just flies.
I have been painting in preparation for The Rural Society Show. I completed a dresser that I just love. I hope someone loves this color as much as I do.
I have had this baby for too long. As you can see she needed lots of prep work.
Glue & clamps and lots of wood filler came to the rescue.
She received 2 coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Provence.
I tried to salvage the diamond pattern on the middle drawer.
But it just looked like I forgot to paint it.
Lightly sanded with coats of light and dark wax.
Then buffed to a nice shine. The details are fabulous.
This baby will be with me at the show!
Have a great day!
XO-

Looks so cool - it will go so fast.
Did you paint something over the Provence? It's beautiful! - Susan
