Hello All!
I love a vacation! I also love coming home! We had a long trip to the lake with lots of tubing, knee boarding, cook outs and swimming. We did everything we could to stay cool from the record 104 temperatures.
My brother (from Minneapolis) and his family joined us for 4 days too. It was terrific seeing his boys and spending time with them.
My youngest and her oldest cousin.
My oldest – the fish.
My sister-in-law showing us how it’s done.
My adorable little nephew.
And now for the Syncro Knee-boarding team, made up of my girls.
How I snapped those photos on a bumpy boat going 35 mph, is still baffling!
We also celebrated Independence Day with family and good friends. Oysters, crab, shrimp, muscles and the main course…
This is the start of a new tradition!
While I was away, I went on a few junkin’ excursions. Lots of new stuff arriving this week at both Heritage Square Antique Mall and Simply Vague.
I got a bit of this and that and I think my theme is “Country Junkin’”. But all I have done is buy it, load it, unload it, clean it and reload. So, until I set it up I’m not sure what look my spaces will have.
Rest assured, there is metal, rusty and crusty items, painted pieces and found treasures. You will love these finds.
Be back tomorrow!
Until then-
XO-

I have visited your space at Heritage Square this spring and I am sure your new finds will look fantastic in your space. Always good to get away for some rest and relaxation.
