Dresser Before & After

I am excited to share a before and after!  It felt great to transform something that isn’t a part of my house for a change!  Although I must say, this might just stay in my house!

I love how I scored this beauty…Cathy, a follower and shopper of Vintage Restyled, and I met about a year ago.  I could tell she had great vision and style.

Cathy was ridding her home of a few items and shot me an email to see if I wanted anything.

I jumped when I saw this beauty.

It was in pretty good shape.  Loved the lines, the curves and the keyholes.

However, I would be out of business if I didn’t restyle it!

I am tempted to keep this baby.  She is masculine but pretty.  Perfect for our master bedroom.

Before I sign off, let’s look once more:

Details:

  • We secured the veneer with wood glue and clamps
  • Annie Sloan Old White
  • Clear Wax
  • New Glass Knobs
  • Cleaned and coated the top – leaving lots of character

Thanks for checking out my project!

Those knobs are just fantastic! You can tell it's a solid, well-made piece of furniture. I would have a hard time parting with that, too!
