Home & Garden & Salvage

I recently discovered hardwood looking tile.  Sharon @ Elizabeth & Co. used this in her bathroom reno.  You can see the whole post here.

I just had to see this in person.  Hubby and I plan to install flooring in 2 bedrooms at the cottage later this month.  I needed to see if this was a possibility.

So, off to the Home & Garden Show we went.

I know this has nothing to do with flooring, but once I was there, I needed to dream about renovating every part of our house!

When I muster the energy to paint the cabinets at the cottage, this is the look I will be going for.

This island was fab!

Why don’t I have this?  A trash and recycling pull out that you just have to tap with your knee (because your hands are full or dirty) and it slides out for you.  Genius.

Ready for spring?  We quickly went through the garden side and it put us in the spring spirit, even though it was snowing.

I dragged Hubby to Architectural Salvage.  He ended up loving it.  Some very cool things but way to pricey for me.

We loved these doors.  Just awesome.

This is how we spent our Sunday – gathering inspiration and taking in some vintage eye candy!  I never did see the tile floors.

So what's the price of the "hardwood" tile compared to hardwood?

Wow, I had no idea there was hardwood tile! I am going to have to investigate this further!
