If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I have a thing for lone chairs.
This simple chair was transformed with a layering technique and now sits in my grown up master bath.
This baby received a similar technique, covered in a drop cloth and donated to The McCoy for its silent auction. It sold for $125! It sits in a local home. That still amazes me!
My latest chair needed some love as well.
My brother-in-law, and favorite picker, scooped this antique rocking chair up for me. He even fixed it up a bit.
Finished in Old White, distressed and waxed. The stripes were done freehand and seem to add a little something to this sweet chair.
She is now in B-10 and would make a great accent in any room.
Enjoy your day and stay warm!

Love the stripes. I passed up a rocker the other day...kicking myself now...
ADORE THIS CHAIR! Great job, free hand stripes are the best.
