I Was Sober

I was totally sober when I approached this project.  I need to clarify before I share this process.

DSCN2860

Original Antique Door

Random strokes of Emperor’s Red

Not a drop to drink.

A couple more random strokes, sanding and some stain.  And the antique door has a new finish.  These make good headboards, can be propped up in an area of a room for some visual interest.  Of course you can use it as a door.

The door weighs a ton!

Not your thing? Use the other side.

Shan-We have 2 original wood doors from our home that were taken down when we redid our bathrooms. I've been thinking of making one of them into a kitchen table (will need to be cut down), add legs, refurbished, etc. I'd put a piece of glass on top. Recommendations for doing it-PLEASE?
