A Grown Up Dressing Area

You know the adage, the cobbler’s kid has no shoes…our house seems to follow suite.  Our furniture is slowly getting a makeover.
I have used a piece of furniture as a place to keep jewelry and make-up and get ready - for years.  It hasn’t really worked for me, but I used it.
Recently, I scored a table when I bought a hutch off Craigslist.  It was a great surprise that the owner gave it to me.
It was already painted.  But it was in a gloss and the color wasn’t working for me.
Yes, ASCP Old White to the rescue.
Want to see where it landed?
So there you have it.  My big girl dressing/make-up area in my master bathroom.
I did not want you to judge me, so I am not sharing any before shots.  That and the fact that I was so excited to bring the table in, I completely forgot!
I will continue to tweak it.  It makes my morning so nice!
My happy place.

So beautiful! I've been thinking about adding a vanity to my master too. Hmmm...
