Amazing Tiger Dresser Redo

Hi All,
I have a dresser redo to share!  I am amazed at the transformation of this one.
First things first – Hubby did this!  It was crazy all the work he did to make this functional & pretty.
And to all the Tiger Oak/Maple lovers – look away, you will cringe when you see the paint on your beloved wood.

This is how it looked when I scored it from the barn.
And here she is:

Isn’t that fabulous?  Hubby did a great job.  He had to plane the drawers so they would fit, glue and secure pieces and parts and make the hardware work and fit.
The knobs are antique glass door knobs that Hubby made work for the drawer pulls.  They are gorgeous!
The paint is ASCP in Coco with a dark wax finish over the distressing.  I may have done this part, but he did the rest!
It sits in our foyer for now.  Hubby now understands how difficult it is to part with our beloved projects!
What do you think?  Didn’t he do an amazing job?
Have a great day!
XO-

It is defiantly one gorgeous piece of furniture! I love love what you hubby did, I had to have mine do the same for an old buffet I redid. I love for you to stop by my party and share this!

Oh, that tiger oak lost it's bite long ago-and the way you've done the finish, one can still see the golden patina. Tiger wood (it's funny..haha)rare or are we supposed to like/protect it..? The whole dresser in it is overwhelming, unless in its day it was heavy lacquered (like the person who made it?)

Okay, I'm leaving now...
