Hi All,
The girls got off to school without a hitch. Some attitude, nervousness and excitement began at 7:00 am. Oh how I miss my summer schedule!
This one was all smiles.
The smile looks big now, but moments before this is what I got:
Once they were off, I got busy.
My space was a mess, my guest room is chaos – so I got to work.
This 70’s shelving unit was introduced to Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint in Paris Gray.
All done (and still drying).
This baby was in BAD shape. I will share its new look tomorrow. Yes, I like creamer in my coffee.
Then I hit my space.
It needed some love and a spruce up. So here’s the newest version. See the shelves in the back?
I finally put some shelving in with NFS (not for sale) stickers. Now when a piece of furniture sells, all the items it holds do not end up on the floor.
It has lots of new items and some other ones have been placed on sale.
When I was done with that, I got busy preparing for our guests.
I need to paint a bed, dresser and a mirror. The night stands are complete.
The bed.
This is by far the biggest job ever! Just look at the top!
Do guests really need a dresser?
I did paint the mirror, the dresser is getting some much needed love and the bed is waiting for tomorrow. Wow, that’s a lot!
It was a good first day of school for all!
XO-
Shannon
