Eye Candy

Hi All,

We still have house guests, so not a whole lotta painting goin’ on.  Our friends are from NY (just north of the city) and it’s a good thing they are here, because their house is still without power.  Fortunately, no damage was done to their home.

Anyway, we have been squeezing in a bit of shopping when we can.  We found some beauties.  But in true thrifty fashion, I just shop, get inspiration and then fantasize that they will magically appear in my home (via a thrift store or auction and a whole lot of work).

Love this baby.

Restoration Hardware…LOVE!

Everything…the table, accessories, the whole store!

They’re into cloches too.  Copycats!

What you cannot see are the wheels on this coffee table.  Still love these, though you have seen them a lot.

Here’s one.

I know these are everywhere, but I just love them.  This one is $600+.  I have one in my home that did not cost near that amount!

Can you tell this is a desk designed to look like a trunk?  Amazing.

Love the color and the distressing.

Pottery Barn has some inspiration for Fall.

Enjoy this bit of eye candy.  Perhaps you will be inspired to seek and find some yourself.

Shannon....so loving the eye candy you shared in this post. I am looking for a new desk for my studio ...the trunk desk above is so clever..so many options. Thanks as always for the inspiration. Bobbie

Very nice. It's amazing how you can spot real gems among all the old junk you must come across.

Shannon-
Hope you are enjoying your visit. Having a fellow shopaholic around could be dangerous for you! Are you taking them to Columbus Architectural Salvage? Last visit, I nearly swooned (repeatedly). Such great stuff and the new location and layout? Awesome.
Unrelated: wish me luck as I try to set up the new booth! Now that the day is TOMORROW, I'm questioning my sanity.

Cool stuff. Thanks for doing my window shopping for me. Now I don't need to leave the house and fight for a parking spot at the mall which is packed with back to school shoppers :)
Seriously though. Looks like there are some good finds at Homegoods.
