The Pieces and Parts

Yesterday, I shared the only room that is done in our house.  You can revisit it here.
A big piece in the room is the armoire.  I grabbed it at GW for $50.
I think someone wanted to distress it, it didn’t go as planned and off to GW it went.
Here is the transformation.

This was done with Old White and Paris Grey Chalk Paint.  When I showed a friend the finished piece, we realized that it left a chalky residue on your hands.  This was because I sanded it and had yet to wax it.  Now that it’s waxed, all is right with the piece.
Hope you like it!

I think you did a great job!! I got a really great tip on waxing, my least fav thing about these paints that I so love.
Vicki at 3oaksstudio.com shared her fab tip about using a mouse sander (at HD and lowes) with a polishing pad- it makes the job 100000x faster and easier. It's Amazing! she is sooo sweet. She even sent me a polishing pad because they don't carry them at my local stores. You did a great job on this armoire!! Looking forward to seeing what you do next. Please send some advice my way- I'm stuck in a rut and can't decide what colors to paint what pieces... www.crookcreations.blogspot.com
thanks!

It looks great! And it's spacious inside, you wouldn't expect it.

I love your armoire, the paint you chose is beautiful, great job!
I also like the way you hide the t.v.
I hate my black eye sore.
Hugs.
