Makeover with Chalk Paint

Hi All,
I joined the rest of the DIY’ers and invested in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint.  At $35 a quart + shipping, I had high expectations.
It did NOT disappoint.
For starters, I had to get used to painting with a brush.  That took a bit of trial and error.  But then I was off and painting.  I finished 4 pieces on Monday!
Here is the first of many.

This end table was pretty beat up.  It has great chunky legs and the table top opens up on both sides, both are great features.
Without sanding or priming, I painted it in Paris Gray.

A light distressing with a sanding block.  Then, I finished it with a coat of poly.

Look at that cute knob!

This baby is in the booth, ready for a good home.
Have a great day!
